The Alberts Deli is located just a 5-minute walk from Richmond station in the Victorian enclave of Richmond known as The Alberts. This independent cafe and deli has been serving the community since 2008, offering a range of breakfast and brunch favorites alongside homemade lunch dishes such as quiches, frittatas, seasonal salads, soups, and hearty mains, including vegetarian options. Customers can also enjoy a selection of wines and bubbly with their meals.

In May 2025, Mark Dorward took over the deli from its founder, Cathy-Sue Hope, who had established it as a beloved local spot. Mark, a resident of The Alberts for five years, aims to maintain the warm and welcoming atmosphere that has made the deli special while introducing his own touch. The deli is dog-friendly and operates on a walk-in basis, encouraging patrons to come in, order at the counter, and find a seat without needing a reservation.
